- U.S. economic growth pushed up slightly in the third quarter, the U.S. government confirmed on Friday 20th. December 2019
- There were signs the U.S. economy more or less maintained the moderate pace of expansion as 2019 came to a close. This was supported by a strong labour market.
- GDP – Gross Domestic Product increased at a 2.1% rate, according to the U.S. Commerce Department.
U.S. markets pushed up. The Dow and S&P 500 touched new intra day highs.
