Investors are still betting on a July interest rate reduction! Trump wants that too.

U.S. Stock markets impressive climb this week generally holds amid a perceived weakening in global economies and weaker than expected economic data.

However, U.S. job data was far better than expected and that may may curb the Fed’s enthusiasm for an interest rate cut.

President Trump has made it perfectly clear he wants an interest rate cut. Will the Fed oblige? He also wants the Fed to re-introduce QE – Quantitative Easing to further boost the economy. Now that is very unlikely. The Fed have been unwinding QE since 2014. QE started in 2008 at the height of the financial crisis!

The lack of visible trade talk progress between U.S. and China is still of concern to investors.

Investors are still betting on a potential July interest rate reduction!
